Best way to: Record MPC Sequences into Ableton Live?

So I got my sequence 1, sequence 2, sequence 3, and sequence 4 ready to be recorded onto ableton. I did my finger drumming, quantized the recorded notes, now I'm ready to put it onto ableton.

Problem is:
1. I got the MPC Studio as Track 1 on ableton.
2. Recording works fine (I press the record button, and press the play button on the mpc studio - I have the MPC MIDI of the record, stop, play assigned to the ableton.)
3. After it's recorded onto ableton live, if I change the sequence on the MPC Studio, it plays that sequence and not what I recorded.

...As if I never recorded other sequences, it will just start playing whichever sequence I left it on in the mpc studio.

Here's how I recorded it, one following another:
Sequence 1 - for about 4 bars
Sequence 2 - for the next 4 bars
Sequence 3 - for the next 4 bars
Sequence 4 - for the next 4 bars

Total of 16 measure of recorded material.

However, when I replay the recording, when it's left on sequence 3, it will play sequence 3 as if I never recorded 1, 2, and 4.

It's as if it only recorded to MIDI trigger and not the actual sequences

Replaying what I recorded, does not play what I recorded. It only plays whichever sequence I leave it on.

How do I set it up so that it doesn't record as a midi trigger, and so that it records as separate sequences from MPC Studio?

I have 3 ableton clips ready under "MPC Studio". Each ableton clip is assigned to each sequence of MPC Studio. Like this:
Program: 1 -> (launches) MPC Sequence: 1
Program: 2 -> (launches) MPC Sequence: 2
Program: 3 -> (launches) MPC Sequence: 3

It records. It responds the way I want.
However, I am experiencing 2 problems:
1. Before recording, I want to go through the clips to make sure I know what times to launch them. Strangely, if I press stop on clip 3, then press (launch) clip 1, it will play the 1st note of clip 3 and stumble onto clip 1. It will play the 1st note of whichever last clip was played, and stumble onto the newly launched clip (once I put a stop to the last clip played).

2. After I record clip 1, clip 2, then clip 3. The "arrangement view" shows that I've recorded them in those steps. However, when I play back the recording, it will play back whichever SEQUENCE the MPC Studio is set on.

for example: if my MPC Studio's main screen displays: (Seq 001 - Sequence 01), no matter what I recorded previously in my arrangement view, it will play Sequence 01.

It's as if the MPC Studio (whichever sequence it is set on) always wants to bully and take over the whole recording. Launching the clips live will play the correct clips & assigned MPC sequence, but after I recorded it, it's useless what I've recorded.

How can I set this up so that the software will play the clips recorded and not play the SEQUENCE the MPC Studio is set on in its MAIN screen?

How can I change things around so that the MPC won't play the 1st note of the very last clip (sequence) played?

Not shure if i got your problem right but i'll try to help you, as for me ableton does it well.

I route my output channels 1/2, 3/4 .... 15/16 of the Ren to different audio ableton-channels (1-8) and set up the sequences as usual with the mpc... the sounds only come through if all the channels of ableton have monitoring turned on

Then, i switch on all the channel-recs inside ableton and press the global ableton-rec button and go through all the sequenes in the preferred order.

Now if you turn the audio-track-monitoring of each ableton-track back to "auto" and mute the mpc-plugin channel it should be playing your arrangement
(For me monitoring was the problem)

EDIT: also remember to turn off the clip-playing mode of ableton, so that arrangement sounds have higher priority

This is the way I do it and it works best for me.

I run the VST on one track, use midi clips for each sequence. Then simply solo each track on the mpc for example the snares, freeze the track in ableton. Create a new audio track namned snares and drag the frozen clip into that. Unfreeze and repeat.
