Firmware problem 1.10v

I had the same issue, among several others still ongoing.(Mac 10.8.5)., it kept saying it loaded but stayed on 1.01.. after 6 hours i put it to an older laptop on 10.6.8 & uploaded it from there.. it worked.. i dont trust Aka at the moment.. & thats after 24 years on MPC's... sack the programmers i recon...
