Hello everyone.
I'm a new mpc player but and old studio producer with midi/vst intruments and audio.
I've just bought an MPC element to add this to my real intruments.
In midi mode, i've no probem, that's amazing, pads and hardware are very good.
Problems come with the software part.
When i want to slice an audio sample, my PC crash (reboot or freez) everytime i want to "convert". It's seems that my PC doesn't like to process lots of little audio loop with MPC essential.
You have to know that my PC is a quadcore, with 4Go ram and win7 64bits.
I create song with a lot of vst instruments (kontact/bfd/massive and all komplete) and my PC works perfectly. For example i can have a song with 4 Kontact in 16 out mode + BFD ALL, all with orchestral instruments, and it's works pefectly ! (lots of audio loop has to be loaded in BFD or KONTACT)
So i'm litle surprise thats my PC reboot or freez just with MPC essential in stand alone with no more programs wich run in background, isn't it ?
Maybe someone has an idea ?
I have a few question after working 2 days on my MPC.
-I've understand that you can record midi note on your daw's sequencer only if your are in midi control mode on the essential plugin (or if essential plugin is not loaded), is that true ? if you want to control loops on your plugin you can just write notes on the essential's sequencer ?
-Can i control my "Q" with a other midi controler ? i don't think so, because MPC studio is made for that, but i ask !
-How do you control MMC with your device in cubase ? i followed al the procedure and it doesn't work !! if anyone can control play/stop/record with the mpc element in cubase or nuendo ??
