Since the updates I'm getting latency. Huh, why? It's nearly impossible to tap beats in.

Ok so I can work around this by turning the buffer size down while I'm tapping stuff in, then turn it up again so the CPU doesn't shit itself on playback.

Yes, that is how making music on a computer works. There is no way around this beyond upgrading your computer - every audio program works with a buffer that must be adjusted low for live input and high for heavy processing.

To reduce load on your computer you can also do things like bounce vst synth tracks down to audio, either by using direct record resample on the MPC, by exporting the track as stems, or by using the mpc in conjunction with a DAW using virtual outs you can dub vst tracks into the DAW then disable them once the audio is recorded.

yea man..direct record is there for a reason..

its one of my fave features that they added..you can record mad shit..and just convert it to audio and cpu just chills :smoker:

I used to get this when using plugins and having other programs open, Internet etc.

Im intending to upgrade my ram, hopefully that will help
