MPC REN CPU Overload in 1.7.1. on Windows 7 Need help thanks

I'm using a Parallels Windows 7 Ultimate partition. I load up beats that I made on my mac side and the CPU power goes nuts in the daw on the Win7 side. What's the best way to fix this so my comp doesnt sound like its making popcorn all the time?

Tricky, because I doubt Akai will officially support virtual machines, especially if you have it working fine in your Mac. It's most likely a configuration issue with Parallels.

Any reason why you are using it in a virtual Windows machine instead of your Mac?

I like to have the windows side there for older cubase sx3 projects from way back and other shit. I figured I can hook up the MPC on the VM side and use it on that side aswell.

When I was beta testing I had a copy installed on Windows 7 virtual machine via Parallels without any problems, but that was for MPC Software v1.4. I've not tried it recently, I'll give it a go when I get the chance, but there are so many different variables here when dealing with virtual environments.
