I tried to drag the program folder it was in and it would not except it so what am I doing wrong?
The folder you'll drag is the project folder. For example, I created a project and in the project I created some programs. I give the programs names and I assign samples to the pads in the program. Now save the project and give the project a name. The software saves the project at the directory. Got to where the project is saved on the hard drive and open the expansion builder program. Drag and drop the whole project folder with samples, programs, sequence data inside into the expansion builder.
Now in Identifier, you have to either type in a location you will use to share the expansion or any ranthom email link. You have to fill this section out or you can't press [Do It]
Fill out the title of expansion, Manufacturer which is you or the original creator, version number if you decide to release later updates of that expansion, description of perhaps the genre of the expansion and drag a image.
Press [Do IT] and choose the directory to save the xml expansion file. Open the mpc software and select view and expansion browers. Go to the directory with the expansion xml and drag and drop the xml into the mpc software to test your work.
