I'm sorry if this has been posted before but, i've searched and read through posts for over an hour trying to find the answer. :WTF:

With the new expansion creator utility, I am dying to start creating, sharing & trading some expansion packs. I WILL NOT, however, be loading all these expansions to my main hard drive. For that reason alone I haven't even attempted to create or download a user expansion. I already have limited space on my system drive and I need my expansions to reside on an external (or even secondary internal) drive.

Is there a way to load expansions on to an external drive and have the MPC browser point to them?
I'd even use a workaround if anybody has one. I just don't want a bunch of samples eating up space on my system drive.

ok, found this vid in the MPC videos thread. This guy is creating an expansion from another expansions xml file. In the xml file, theres a "directory" path and he changes it to where he has his files located and at the end he shows that the expansion works. I'll use this info and see what I can come up with.
