put only one sample on poly mode

Hello,

I have a mpc element and I use the mpc essentials which has only one track that can be played at the same time unlike the mpc software that comes with the ren or the studio.

Considering this, I would like to know if I can put only one sample on poly and the others on mono ? For the moment, I can only turn on the whole sequence on poly mode or mono but I havent find out yet how to chose the mode I want for each sample.

well, I just found out.

I give the solution if someone has a the same problem :

you need to go to 'promage edit' (the second icon, next to the main mode icon). Then you chose in layer one the sample that is just after the one you want to mute. On the left you'll see an option written 'mute target'. In there, you just have to chose the pad you want to mute while playing this particurlar sample.
