Check on mute groups maybe.

Maybe they are all in the same group. If so, they will mute each other??

such a scrub!

ok go into program and check if the program is in mono or poly.

it needs to be in poly. mono means only one sample at a time will play and will cut off if you press another.

i doubt you have mute groups.
but if you do..just take em off.

if you are on the mpc ren just go to program edit> master and it should show u on the screen there if you got any mutes

Lol I see you got jokes pituchez!

No sir not a scrub by any means but now I do think there is a glitch in the operating system. I've already done the basics before that you suggested. Still having the sound mute issue. I ended up having to load all the sounds in one program and that solved the problem but it only gives me use of one program at a time. When loading additional programs I'll still have the issue. Any other additional advice you or anyone else could offer would be appreciated. Thnx bro!

Im on Yosemite using 1.7.2

Remove any number from the mute groups section, too. If you chop a sample and choose CREATE PROGRAM too, it puts the program to mono mode AND sets all the samples to the same mute group. Select NONE for polyphonic usage.
