how do i load a song into my mpc ren?

i want to load a song into my mpc ren so i can sample something from that song, but i do not know how to load it. i have the song saved in my hard drive. also im using a pc. do i need a certain program or do i need wires/cables? im new to this and this is the only thing that i dont know how to do. thank you for you help.

Yes, you can do this by clicking Help then MPC Help and then read the manual.

Seriously though you can just drag and drop audio files from a folder into the mpc window, then when you go into sample edit mode you can select the sample you want then chop it from there.
