Clicking noise on pad 1 (MPC studio)

Not sure if I should be concerned or not.

If I press pad 1 lightly towards the centre/front, I hear a physical click and can vaguely feel a mechanical pop under my finger.

From what I can tell, the pad functions fine in terms of triggering sounds/samples, I am just concerned if this is a slippery slope to something breaking or if it is just a quirk of my unit.

Only just noticed it today, so pretty sure it hasn't been happening before (bought it new just before xmas).

Any thoughts as to what this could be, and if I should be concerned?

Given that no-one has replied, I assume that this is not a common issue.

Thing is, I don't want to waste my time triggering warranty if this is a side-effect of the units construction and everything is fine.

Is there an email address at Akai who may be able to advise if the unit warrants returning?

My studio does this as well, TBH never noticed this before and I'm usually very OCD about this type of stuff

My studio is 2 years old now, doesn't seem to be a problem.
