No, Akai would probably have no interest in doing this, they want people to buy the Studio or Ren (which is fair enough IMO!). I suspect it's very difficult to work out the way the Ren/Studio communicates with the software, no doubt a proprietary method.
Anyone trying to reverse engineer this would be infringing Akai's license so I doubt there's much interest from anyone in doing this.
Just buy a Studio, it's designed to control the software. What exactly is the advantage of using the 2500 to control the software, especially considering you can't even buy the software on its own in the first place?
