But maybe this would be a good opportunity to say, I'd like to be able to have multiple effects windows opened. Say in example, I like to have a spectrum analyzer opened on the master channel and am working on a equalizer on another track. Both analyzer and eq windows would be opened at the same time.

Better support for multiple screen. It would be wikkid to have the mixer detachable from the main project window, like in apple Logic ie

Few pros after a quick run:

Truly loving the non destructive choppin, the project folder is proper tidy now!

Also, the samples in Samples list are really highlighted when clicked now, much more practical!!
But then I don't seem to be using this list much often as of lately!
How about, adding a new chops list?

Also lovin the the Vintage effects skins, that's really cool :)

What Vintage effects skins? I'm reading that as a new skin for the Compressor (Vintage) model, different from the red skin it currently is?...

fantastic update. I love the lazy chop and general enhancement in the sampling window, then there are the little things. ..1.7 resetting peak on the hardware while sampling would not be mirrored in software, now it does. Just little things like that make it feel like a complete unit. Its unfortunate some users still getting crashes , I run Win7 and have not had any issues. Try and have dedicated music machine if you can, keep it clean and offline so you wont have to switch on antivirus software. There are other 'household' tasks to take care of on PC's for stability, ignore them at your own peril. Thanks Akai and all testers involved this update is FIRE!!!!!

Sorry for double post, couple of gripes. cant find a manual anywhere that would have been nice, and the converting chops to program took me a few attempts to find on the hardware, SHIFT it works well but i think it needed to be pointed out as it aint that obvious.

I really enjoy the new update I like the way you can chop now and fine tune it using the Q links. I also like the way the chord progressions work. In the next update I would really like to be able to assign keys (like logic or cthulu) in chord progressions myself in that screen that would be awesome. and something simple to where you hover over the sequence and it quickly tell you the BPM because I like new pop out. Adding the BPM next it would be a great addition for transitioning to the to a DAW to quickly with your your Ren projects.

This.
Pay strong attention to this. Don't be clicking around on pornhub with your Ren setup!
