Turntable Issue - Signal but No Sound

What computer OS are you using?

Did you install the latest Renaissance audio driver to suit your computer OS?

Did you select the Renaissance as the audio device in MPC Software preferences/audio?

I am using Windows 7

I installed everything and updated all firmwares and drivers yesterday

I am using my own Audio Interface

If you are using your own audio interface, then you have to set that as your audio device in MPC Software, and you have to plug your turntable/turntable preamp output into your audio interface inputs.

The audio inputs on the Renaissance will only work when you are using the Renaissance audio interface as your audio device.

Wow, that's really stupid! They really think everyone wants to use their crapy internal audio interface? Man this issue really set's things back. Well, thank you for your help and time, it's really appreciated! Now I have some rewiring to figure out. .... . .

You don't have to use the Renaissance audio interface, you can connect your turntable output to your own audio interface (if it has a phono input, or through something else with a phono preamp in it), and set MPC Software to use your own audio interface as the audio device.

Well the audio interface I have has no phono inputs only coaxial out/input and pre-amps. Also my turntable has a groundwire that would need to be plugged in.

I figured it out!!!! In the MPC software I was choosing the wrong input selction(s). Due to me having so many other things plugged into my Audio Interface, I forgot which was which and was using the wrong ones. I thought I was going to have to resort back to my 2500. USER ERRORRRRRRR!!!!

Anyway - if anyone sees this and runs into the same issue(s) you could try checking your cables and make sure you are using the proper inputs within the MPC software (making sure they match). I know the OP said all he had to do was change his USB from hub to direct plug into his PC. So it seems this issue could be different for everyone.
