virtual instruments not loading right??

Is it me or do my virtual instruments not load right after the 1.8.1 update??? I feel like some of the vsti parameters reset when i load a project. It mos def sounds different than what i actually recorded. Anyone else having similar probs? Looks like im back on the 1000 for now lol.
