Pro Tools 10/11 AAX RTAS CPU Spikes, running out of CPU Powe

Back when I was using the MPC Plugin in Pro Tools 10 it was on version 1.4 the hiccups seemed far less than on 1.7

That was even on a slower MacBookAir

now on 1.7 I#m getting many hiccups with the 9128 error message, this is with a i7 Quad Core Mac Mini

My gut tells me this has something to do with the Mixer structure change. I get same on Pro tools 11 and 10 with RTAS and AAX plugin does not make a difference.

Any thoughts?

Same exactly for me. Going back to 1.6!

i have been having this same issue. crazy cpu spikes. with one vst. either instrument or efx. is dropping down to 1.6 working for yall?
