My moms just got me one :smoker:
And I'm just fiddle around with it in NYC
Amazing :vomit:
Now can't wait till my mpc gets from repairs in time
Get it custume painted flip flop colors
Wow :vomit:

You lucky dog! :fku:
the jealousy is real right now.
Does that thing work as expressively as it can with most vst's within the mpc program or do you need to use some sort of specific ones??

To answer my own question. Yes. Yes you can.

Although, for some reason the Renaissance will not allow my faderfox pc4 as a midi input even though it sees it in the midi input page it won't allow me to tick it.

Anyone know why?

Hmmmmnnn....I think the MPC only allows midi control from other Akai usb products not any other non Akai usb controllers. If you have a midi 5 pin device then that's not an issue. In my case I have a nord keyboard which is able to control any ren plug ins or parameters which I can assign particular cc numbers to. The Ren responds without issue. The faderfox (midi over usb) is a no go.

That might be the case for all non Akai USB Midi controllers. Can any testers confirm or deny this please?

Make sure you get logic x pro or bitwig studio because those daws handle the expression of these next level expression controllers much better than other daws. Playing a rhodes on live vs. logic x pro with my linnstrument is night and day better when controlling pitch and vibrato with my controller.
