can another ren controller be used with currently registered

software to another controller ? I bought my ren retail and everything is good, but want to buy my nephew used ren which the guy dont have the software install disc for. was wondering if I'd be able to test out the controller to make sure all is good with installation of my ren software

At least another studio controler can with ren software.
The only thing that appears is a balloon saying this is not the hardware blah blah... But it works the same. I guess the same applies to 2 rens
