Hopefully the step edit via pads and nudge features (mentioned right after the independant track length) will come to us Legacy Controller users.
High! How are you?!

nice video, can't wait for all the "in depth" hands on user reviews that will be out in the next month or so.

About the FX, they just integrated a Kaos Pad in the Touch.

By that reasoning everybody else also "just integrated a Kaos Pad" into their devices. And there are literally tons of companies who have copied this.
I think it's a cool feature certainly for todays musical styles

Never say it was a bad feature. But nothing revolutionary.

I like what I see in the touch. I just purchased one of those 2-1 laaptops, so I hope they offer MPC software that works the same when using tablet mode or something. I hope Akai realize offering a dual screen experience with touch on one screen and the MPC on another would be great.

this does seem like a revolutionary step forward for the akai mpc workflow; looking forward to this

I'm definitely looking forward to hearing about the impressions after a couple months of use. If it's tight and they follow up with a new flagship I'll be interested for sure, standalone or not.

Yeah I prefer the larger footprint because of more controls available. I prefer to focus on the hardware. I find that with Studio I have to look up at the software more than I do with the Ren. If I really, really took the time to analyze it, that's probably not the case, but it just feels like it.
So I prefer the larger footprint of the flagship that generally has more physical controls available.
Depending on what the flagship has though, I might just get the Touch.

Do you know what bothered me most?
I've never seen Pete with glasses. And never seen Geoff without.
Did they switch visual impairments?
