My neighbor is gonna be beating down my door in a minute...got the Ren and any samples/drums loaded up sound just fine, but when I get to adding a VST and playing it via my XP-80, I can't even hear the thing, I have to crank it up all the way. Can I raise the volume on the vst track without boosting everything else?!

Best way would be to turn everything else down.

Does this happen with all VSTs? I haven't experienced that issue, except when the VST settings had strange envelopes or didn't have output levels themselves.

I have noticed that with the bank and hybrid VST as well. 3rd party VSTs work just fine but the ones that come with it are super quiet. Even if you turn the volume on the vst all the way up and the volume in the mixer all the way up it is still way quieter than the rest of the mix. I have had to turn everything else down or use a compressor on hybrid to bring the volume up. If anyone else has any other work arounds I would love to know as well!
