-Make sure that you have enough hard drive space (I do)
-Log into your system as the "Administrator" or as another user that has permissions to install software. (I am)
-Windows Users: Disable your system's User Account Control (I do)
-Windows Users: Scan your system with the system file checker (I do)
Unfortunately the installation failed.
(Error: Timeout - 0x0005)

Code: Select all
There a few things that can help that error:
Uninstall the Driver, Restart, then Reinstall the Driver, Restart.
If the driver has an Uninstaller, use this to uninstall the driver (even if you've never successfully installed it).
Restart the computer.
Download the latest version of the driver from the company or product's website.
Reinstall the latest version of the driver.
Restart the computer again.
Run a registry cleaner.
Download and install the Eusing Free Registry Cleaner.
Use this utility to find and repair all registry errors on your computer. Run the scan and repair twice.
Restart the computer.
Download the latest version of the driver from the company or product's website.
Reinstall the latest version of the driver.
Restart the computer again.
Make sure there are no energy options set on the USB ports through the system's utility panel - rare cases.
In Windows, click on Start > Control Panel (or Start > Settings > Control Panel).
Double-click on System, then open the Hardware tab.
Click Device Manager.
Click the + at Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
Right-click USB Root Hub and select Properties.
Open the Power Management tab.
Clear the checkmark from Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
Click OK. J Sandeenany idea??
