$300 Renaissance??? Worth it?

So I'm an MPC1k JJos2xl cat and never really made the jump to a "new age" Sampler whether it's a Maschine or Akai product.

Have a homie selling his for about $300. Do you guys think it's worth coping since Akai is looking to really push the black Studio and the the Touch?

Yes $300 is definitely worth it as long as he includes the software. The studio is definitely a step down from the ren.

I think the real question is obvious; do you have a computer that has the specs to keep your production smooth? If you're the type that has 20-40 tracks going, w/ a lot of effects, you should be certain that you've got the RAM, and processor muscle to make cut.

Yes as long as you have the software transferred to you.

My set up can definitely accommodate the Ren so I don't think that'll be an issue. Call thanks for the help y'all.
