Wait for NAMM or buy MPC Touch now?

I currently have an mpc studio black I bought 2 months ago and like it a lot but the MPC touch has me intrigued especially because most things can be done on its own screen and it has internal audio interface to sample directly into...I found a deal on a new one for $689, should I wait another few weeks until NAMM to see if Akai has anything new coming out (possibly the Legacy) or would you guys jump on that deal now?

There's always going to be 'something new' coming out from these companies, you can't always be chasing the next shiny toy. If they announce a new MPC at Summer NAMM then by the time it's actually available the rumours will already have started about the 'next MPC', no doubt to be announced at Winter NAMM, how that one is 'even better' that the last one. It's an endless cycle.

The MPC Studio Black is a fine controller for the MPC Software - you already have it (and only for 2 months) and you say you like it a lot - so why the desire to abandon it?

I'd hang on a few weeks personally, but that's on the basis of them releasing a new flagship which would probably be a bit more pricey than the Touch.

I would wait for NAMM but honestly I think they are going to release 2.0 at summer namm and a new flagship at winter namm.

MPC Touch is easily the best equipment purchases I've made in years...

It makes workflow so much easier.

I still love my 1000 and my 2KXL, but this Touch joint....

Just lovely.

Wait for Namm. The Touch is a very good controller, it's just so easy to do the little things on there. My 1000 is probably going to my brother.
