Using MPC Studio in live setting w/o computer

well to be clear.. the roland/boss SP range does not come equipped with lexicon quality FX... but miles ahead of akai's fx in the older stand alone era of samplers. The thing is though on those SP samplers there are many many fx in the one unit.

Looking at what's available out there, I think I'll just end up using a controller and bringing my laptop along. I'm thinking along the lines of a MPC studio and a Peavy USB-P, or just a Touch.
