I have the SP 404 SX connected to the Renaissance and recorded on the Renaissance via MIDI something . The samples submitted by the SP . The sound is heard. But if I the Project export directly as mp3 , nothing can be heard . If I export the project as a MIDI file , though I hear the melody , but instead of drums , sound is heard a piano . How can I change this?
Thxz!

PS:Sorry if my english is not perfect . I'm from Germany.

You hear the sequence played because midi is performance "data" not actual sound.

Midi is not audio, you exported "data", note performance, not audio.

MPC-Tutor wrote:The sound is coming out of the SP404, so you have to record the SP404 audio outputs. So plug the audio outputs of the sp404 into your audio interface's recording inputs and configure a DAW or other recording software to record that audio.

So I have the SP on my external audio interface ( NI Komplete 6 ) connected . Do you think I should at import , simultaneously record the sounds ?
