if nothing else this is a cool controller for strum and note mode. They took some cool features from the linndrum and the rolli. Good for native instruments for bringing something new to the table. The more they innovate the more it pushes akai to do the same (hopefully)

i dont think this is innovative and do u really want akai to stop making 4 x 4 pads and go for 8x8?

not me to me they just copied launch pad and push so I fail to see what innovations have been created by this product, this is a tag along product.

Fader instruments strumming and piano roll without it being in step mode is pretty good imo.

Dispite of the 8x8 grid, it's still separated by a 4x4 grid. Whith each 4x4 having a specific purpose or functionality.
