Un-explode tracks or combine tracks?

Hi there
looking for a simple option to combine tracks after i explode, would be good to put all my drums on the one track for some things.
Seems like its something that should be there. i mainly use a 2500 and then mpc studio for editing and sending back to the 2500 when im finished, pretty sure there should be an option for this.

There is no option to do this via the hardware AFAIK.

But you can do this very easily manually in the track mix view.
(Edit mode needs to be set to "Region Edit").

Just mark your data with the rectangular selector on "Track X"
and then drag the rectangular selector to "Track Y".

(BTW: This works with copy/paste too... existing data doesn't get replaced but merged that way.)

In the Studio hardware, to merge two tracks select 'SEQ EDIT' > 'COPY EVENTS (pad 4)', select the track and note range to copy, select the track to copy them to and hit MERGE. Remember that the original track will still exist so you'll have to manually delete/clear that
