When would this company listen to us customers before its corporate buyers :vomit:

They probably are listening…but are they replying, and when, if ever, that's the question.
I'm being really honest when I say I may not want to touch the Live until PDC is fixed.
I know I'd love the standalone, but the lack of PDC pisses me off way too much…I know I'd eventually bring the project to software and start to mix it…but I can't do that thanks to missing PDC, because I can't mix it with the plugins I like because they throw the timing off.
Pete and Akai have ignored my tweets linking them to the PDC post, which really does not come as a suprise at all.
They talk when it's time to receive praise, but when there's criticism, not so much.

I know someone might say, "You're probably annoying the hell out of Pete on Twitter", but he's probably the main dev, and if he can't comment on it and say a few words about when PDC might be happening or whether they have even started working on it while the units are shipping somewhat soonish, that is NOT a good look for those waiting for PDC. God knows, maybe PDC won't be there until 2020, and I ain't gonna be waiting for it.

ever hear the saying- you cant please all the people all the time ?

I honestly believe the designers/programmers are working hard to get the best product for the money out there. Every company has some accountant-type who cares less about quality and wants productivity which comes at the immediate expense of the customer- someone inside is keeping that guy from messing up the final product.
I love my silver studio and advance 49, the mpc and vip software have been solid for me.
They deserve credit and respect imho.

Keep up the good work Akai !

This is very, very true, and there will always be people moaning and wanting "better" and more features, so it's good to understand this.

However, as it stands, PDC, which won't be in 2.0 – confirmed – is hardly a fancy feature and does justify "moaning". It's one of the most central components of a working audio software.
If somebody thinks this is useless moaning, try making a beat with kick on one track, snare on the other, then add Slate Tape Machine on the kick, add a limiter on the master, then turn the metronome on…and you know what I'm talking about. Kick isn't on time with the snare anymore, and metronome isn't on time with anything anymore.

And, this is coming from a long-time Akai fan. Saying all this for the sake of betterment of the product, trying to advise the company to not put out the product until essential features are done.
IMHO they can't afford to put out a product that does not meet the basic needs…Akai needs to get it tight at this point.

believe what u wanna believe from he bible to astrology, it dont make it true.

if the X live and v2.0 come out in July full of bugs ur gonna be pissed and there will inevitabley be issues regardless so the delay strategy may backfire.
