I'm using reroute and and trying to setup sync so when I hip play on my mpc touch reaper starts recording. I have enable synchronization to timecode checked and loopbee selected as the input in reaper. In the MPC software I have send set to loopbee. I hit record in reaper, play on the mpc. The MPC starts playing but Reaper still says waiting for timecode. If I click force start it starts recording on the 2nd beat. Any idea how to straighten this out?

OK had to look up what loopbe was. MPC software already has such a program. The installer for it can be found at C:\Program Files\Akai Pro\MPC\support. It's called Akai Pro Internal MIDI or something like that. Never used loopbe but the Akai joint does what you want for me flawlessly. Literally all I had to do was look up how to MIDI assign in Reaper (you already know the routing from MPC>Reaper being handled by either loopbe or Akai Internal), then map the Reaper transport stop & play functions to the stop & play buttons on the MPC & done. For recording, I always insert a blank 2 bar sequence at project tempo at the beginning, because there is a very slight buffer before Reaper starts playing. Sometimes you can't notice it, but other times you can't hide it.
There was another way that I can't recall. If I think of it I'll hit you back. Good luck!
