How do you reset the MPC Renaissance

Hi, Hope you all can help me. I bought a MPC Renaissance from FB marketplace looked in great condition from the outside but when I turned it on the screen would just blink off and on. A blue screen no letters no nothing just plain blue. It would blink and that’s it. I tried installing new firmware and the new MPC software and still nothing. Is there a way to reset the MPC Renaissance to factory settings?? Or just rest so when I start the MOC logo comes out on the screen and all the buttons and lights turn on. Can anyone please help.

The blue screen is what a Studio comes up with if no connection to a PC/Mac could be established... assuming the same for the Ren.
Maybe the new MPC software was just too new for it.
