I have three problems with my Studio 2:
1. When I open the firmware updater from my InMusic account, I get a pop-up saying midi device not found,scan for device, this does nothing.
2. In the mpc 2 software, preferences, hardware, record/overdub. I have an exclamation point where it says Use host DAW, and I need to install mmc driver. The driver installs successfully but the exclamation point remains and I can't record midi from my Studio 2 as a plugin inside a Sonar track.
3. Also in preferences, midi sync, I cannot get it to populate.
I'm aware of the midi issues created by Microsoft updates and that Akai has been severely impacted.
I am waiting to hear back from Akai support, if anyone has any possible solutions, I'd greatly appreciate it. TIA.
