Personally, to me, it just sounds really muted and kind of bitcrushed. I'm a little disappointed.

I like the way it sounds on my kicks and snares, but when applied to the entire mix, it really swallows the whole mix.

How would that work, exactly? Would it make an audio file of my midi notes with ring mode applied?
