I had the original MPC 60 when it first came out. Most of you guys were not even sperm at that point. Roger Linn created a monster and the workflow was fantastic even though you were dealing with the non alien enhanced technology of that time.
Moved on to the MPC 5000 because it felt familiar. Workflow was great with that until they stopped supporting it.
Moved on to the Ren, I got it because I like lights on my device and it had similar specs.
To make the long story short I just want to have a stable machine to work on projects, I rarely sample and I'm not trying to "master" anything in the pre-production faze with the Ren... I know better
I saw the vid of that Captain save a Ren guy and he seemed obsessed with his agenda not mine. His passion with his 1.7 software is meaningless if there are numerous crashes and problems with loading projects from non 1.7
The bells & whistles are fine, just get back to stability.
