Ok, this might have slipped many by but if you go into your automation options you can choose PAD SOLO or PAD MUTE.
When you route the qlinks to these options at the flick of a qlink you can mute or solo a particular sound. This sounds so mundane but in practice it's pretty darn epic!!!
Particularly for live performers/artists like myself.

Maybe it's existed on previous MPC's with q links but with this now in 1.7 things have further moved on to another level.
Now all I need is to be able to setup an external controller to take control of aspects of the MPC that take too many button presses and fiddling during a live show or just to incorporate along side to compliment the 16 q links and I'm set.
