Sweetwater says in November

November18

November 23

If I remember correctly guitar center in Manhattan were one of the first places to get the Renaissance. I am going to call Sweetwater tomorrow about a Pro Tools 12 license issue and see if they have any newer information.

Yes it's a good idea to wait. My MPD232 has one of the pads no longer emitting light when I strike it. It doesn't affect usability, but I'll send it to akai to repair soon when I'm done with school.

The Touch are using the same pads also, sorry to hear.

Let's hope Akai have learned something from the early release of Ren (which was a disaster in terms of the software).

Considering history?

Loved what Ableton just did.

Announce a product and release it the same day. Then all Push 1 users can trade in for the Push 2, if your local dealer is an authorized user you can trade it right there locally. Also an update to Ableton 9.5.

I hope we can get 1.9 news soon, time to run 9.5 through the paces.

Not just that, but all the Push 1's will be refurbished and given away for free (with a copy of live) to music education projects:

https://www.ableton.com/en/push-trade-in/

That's amazing in itself, plus you get Push 2 at a 30% discount. Akai take note.

Ableton seem like a really clued-up company... ... great Scott, I think I've just had a life changing idea.

Yeah bravo the Ableton!! I love push 1, going to debate on Push 2 after testing out the new simpler update.
