Maschine Jam, seems like a direct Push competitor:

What with the new MPC 2.0 supposedly featuring the new phrase program (e.e. like live clips), and other Live features (warp etc) do you think we'll be seeing some Push-like MPC controllers from Akai?

That's supposed to compete with Live and Push? :hmmm:

Advanced time stretch is what most samplers should be able to do in this day and time. It's really about making the usability and interface that much easier. It should be integrated as a musical tool, not a computer programmer tool.

It's for the NEW MUSIC market. Akai is going the same direction but they are slow. This JAM will be used to arrange maybe better than FL Studio; switching patterns so fast OMG! Metro Boomin, Sonny Digital, 808 Mafia and half the Trap Hit Producers including DRAKE producers will have this thing singing in seconds.

:smoker:

Thanks Ray for that video above.

I think this Maschine is dope. I have Komplete, which can be overwhelming at times to get different sounds from different instruments doing what you want.
I would see this as an investment into making Komplete really do what I want quicker.
I don't make techno nor trap beats either. I use Mostly samples and compliment my beats with synths and strings or whatever.
I don't think it would be hard to implement this into my setup. I'm not going to buy it immediately , but I'm going to keep an eye out on it.

Same here, but I think I'm going to cave when a Veterans day 15% off coupon comes out at Guitar Center.
