Stepping up their game will likely involve ensuring the MPC Ren/Studio is solid....releasing an OS update for the MPC 5000. A new hardware MPC will most likely take several years to develop unless they release a new model based off of the MPC 5000.

I own an MPC 2000XL. I am still looking for a reasonably priced MPC 2500 or 5000. The MPC Ren is a must have for me and I am building my entire studio around it. I just can't wait to get my hands on one so I can spend time using it and less time talking about it.....

....but then again...I will probably spend even more time talking about it once it actually arrives.

Osea, veo que va usted a poner alrededor, lo que el ren por si solo no contendra, por tanto, no se nos podria brindar a los usuarios un producto realmente sofisticado y potente ( llamemosle algo asi como MPC, aplicando la tecnologia en que disfrutamos hoy en dia, en la vida cotidiana ).

It's 2am here in Japan..and raining. I can't sleep so although the post office is closed...I am going to see if my Apollo has arrived. MPC Ren + Apollo + iMac/Mac Book Pro + Thunderbolt hard drive....I am personally ok with computer connectivity.

I was looking at commercial recording studios in my hometown. Despite all the updated hardware and software...this particular one was running:

Did you check out the stuido in the Music Vox audio store? I think it was in Akihabara!
