In your opinion....what type of product could Akai release to bolster their claim regarding changing the way music is made?

You must be new.
Probably have bought your first Akai product.

No reason to attempt to make Akai look stupid since they have been doing it themselves for the last 8 years Id say...

Not exactly....been a forum member as long as 99% of the people that post here today.

I'm a changed man these days (for the most part)...and try not to get into silly debates. But I will pull folks cards (respectfully) when they are talking nonsense.

I am looking for the pic as well.

As far as the avatar, I will probably change it. It is annoying to look at.

i really hope its not guitar pedals...

i dont think theyre gonna make a new mpc.

IMO it would be dope if they released a maschine contender, then all the drawbacks i've had with maschine itself would be resolved 8)

crossing fingers :D

from Akai+pro's FB site

"For anyone that doesn't know, that's Sean C and LV. Producers for Jay Z (American Gangster) and others."

I wouldnt imagine it would be guitar pedals. not to say hiphop producers dont use pedals but its likely something more substantial in order to as they "change the way we make music"

ok Akai... show us what u got!

really? lets hope it doesn't regress the series... lets hope also it is a new machine and not a repackaging of an old one or a new paint job or customization shell on a previous model etc...

you honestly want to see a 5000LE? okay, an XL sure... cause that equals specs and features... but LE as in a new colour scheme? either way, I expect (and look forward) to reading the full written review by you in a couple of weeks after it drops in stores.
