You know they got AraabMUZIK, these London producers, but did they try to ask premo, pete rock, showbiz, dj shadow, etc, for some feedback?

I mean the people they got are fine but, maybe try to get at dudes that have been using them for more than 4 or 5 years?

Just a thought :)

Ahhhhh...love it. For the simple reason that it is motivating the "usual suspects" to campaign against Akai/Numark and rant even further/harder.

I can't find any other product being showcased this week that is being hated/love to the extent we have been seeing for the past two weeks. The marketing guys are doing their jobs very well IMHO.

It was unprofessional behavior. You can't fraternize with the products in such manner.

I wonder just how much Akai infact paid these boyz to say this ?

I also entirely disagree that Sly Dunnbarr produced a better sound on the reggae front than others at the time due his use of an MPC - BULLSHIT !

Nah, I promise you that I've moved on already ! My Maschine and 1K have all bases covered for me. In truth, Cubase alone had most bases covered for me long ago

I swear, watching that most of them referenced the old machines more than the new one. It was comedy with the one guy talking about feeling attached to his automation, like one set of knobs makes any difference to another. Jesus.

I'd be more interested to hear what some of the active, boundary-pushing London heads have to say about this. Not people who made tracks for the likes of Allsaints and Blue.
