That might be tough because it may be classed as a software product. I don't know if it works the same way over there as here? As soon as the seal is broken you're locked in!

DJ Hellfire wrote:It does work like that, but I'm not sure how it applies to software that's tethered to hardware. I think in this case, the software itself is worthless, so I'm not sure if it will apply!

konc3pt wrote:it all depends imo...i bought mpd32 at gc, then returned it...thing wasnt sealed meaning looked like it was previously returned....anyway....when I was returning it the store assosciate was giving me shit for opening the software(ableton lite) or whatever fuk comes with these controllers and didnt want to accept the return...I told that numb fuk that I dont need that software since I already own ableton live suite that I had purchased at the same store, a year or two prior and to look that shit up....he was still giving me shit so I had him get the manager and he finally approved it...but the whole process was rather emotinally draining and they made it seem like they was doing me a favor...fuk off.
with that said I wouldnt be surprised if there was no returns on things as such...cuz there's usually a serial number included, they also might trip you got it just to copy the software and sound libraries.
