I assumed as much. As most threads about MPC 5000 issues in this forum are from non-owners. While the MPC 5000 is not flawless, it is still a good MPC.
The MPC 1000 pad issue was about 8 years ago. While I can't speak on the MPC 500 (as I have never owned one)..the pad issue is no longer a problem.
well, of course YOU like the mpc5000, jah... your name is even in the credits...

and how the hell are you gonna say the pads are no longer a problem on the MPC1000 when there are still thousands and thousands of MPCs out there with the old pads that AKAI couldn't be bothered to replace?? that would be like if they were to release a 2.0 version of the software and make the first people that jumped on buying the Renaissance have to PAY an extra $200 for the upgrade!!
hahahahahhaha!! go figure. crossings always pulls out the dirt on ****, good job man, this clown jah is all on akais nuts, they are just out for the money as usual, buyers beware, akai has got their cronies up on these forums to talk up the new products, just remenber the past and never forget the old products that they put out and never fixed, the shitty mpc1000 os that crashes and stalls all the time forcing you to buy jjos, dont ever forget the shitty pads in the original 1000 or in the mpd line, dont forget the shitty ipod app, dont forget the shitty 500 os, or the shitty 5000 os that all our friends complain about time and time again,.. see akai was once the shit back in the 60, 2000, and 2000xl days, but that was a different akai, now its numark who owns the akai name, what a different story..

jerome fuller huh?? so u own maschine too??
