Selecting/higlighting Multiple Track events at a time in 1.3

Well, it was really handy when working linearly or in song mode to build build up your beat or your song!

Well luckily we are no longer forced to work in a linear fashion after 1.3.... and handy when working on a song? how exactly? could u elaborate? I just create different sequences, alter them they way I like, different variations, then I just use song mode to piece it all together

Sure, I'll elaborate. Once you have all your sequences laid out in song mode, you can go in and delete certain notes for drum drops/solos/mutes or for the intro, outro etc., before exporting your beat to a stereo file. Basically using song mode to build your beat format up to something like this:

Oh ok I see, like when it's converted to a song, you have acces to all tracks on the song mode screen, correct? So when u create that final song/sequence, you edit it up a bit, then you dump your tracks into protools?

I wish I could make a tune with 20 tracks! I just loaded up an old project that's got 98 tracks in it!

I had a LOT more time on my hands back then.

I would rather work in a linear fashion like a typical DAW.

linier all the way, this is they way of a daw and this is what this uniti is being aimed at so it should do this,

this function must just have been missed off or overlooked in error by akai....
