Is Auditioning Slices from an external controller desirable?

Not really, many of us original ASR heads brought the rack instead of the key since we were already using the 900/950.
Ensoniq made us wait to get them.

The real problem in your post seem quite obvious.

Man, I really hope they can incorporate this! I normally chop full songs and sometimes that leaves me with over 40 slices. It would be great to playback on the keyboard like I've done with my Kurzweil, Phatmatik Pro and now Geist....

Listen man, now chopping a song into tiny pieces are wasted aspects ? wtf are you even talking about, the feature he requested is completely valid, if you dont like it move on.

Stop wasting your time, n concentrate on what request you want instead of throwing your lollipop down in the sandbox and hating on what others might actually enjoy.

And the fact Jah has a request I like that's a problem too? gtfoh with that dumb shit, Akai might actually want to hear from users like ourselves, and Ensoniq didn't make you do shit, if you had an external controller, you could have as easily did that back then too..

I remember geist having some issues with more then 16 slices, are you saying they allow for this now?
