Why flange effect when using sends?

Not sure what you guys are doing wrong, but I'm not experiencing this!

Yes please, this is something wrong my friends.

this is most likely due to latency induced by the plugins or maybe somehow on the send themselves - which would definitely be a bug.

Is the issue still there if you take the plugin off the aux and just have the audio sending?

me too. I get a phase/flange effect when using any plugin. Basically stopped using sends now.

any suggestions? would like to set up effects to use on multiple tracks, not just one insert, etc.

Ableton Live use to have a similar issue which has driven me nuts for years...

I'm 99% sure that the return tracks can't compensate automatically the delay amount introduced by an insert plug in.

Infact, if you turn the send knob to 100 without an insert fx on the return track, your not going to have any latency.

That's a shame because you can't use reverbs in a proper way...

Another reason why I always avoid mixing ITB within the mpc software...

Send are working for me without flanging..
I'm using one built in reverb and one au plugin reverb and its working without flanging...

What plug in are you guys using exactly?

maybe it only happens when you have some dynamic vst on the insert(something like psps warmer) , Then when you send that pad it has a delay or latency.. Really i mite not hear it anyway when using a reverb, as its well a reverb with long tail...I dont use inserts really.. Using mpc as only a sampler.. IF i do want to effect it i resample it...

Have you guys tried meddling around with the audio buffer size in the prefs?

Do you guys have the Direct Mon knob all the way to the right? It's the one between the record and master gain knobs.
