MPC & Reaper Tutorials

There are two ways... mac uses the iac driver fpr this.. (comes with osx)
Windows i think uses rtpmidi driver...(that you have to get/download..)

Once you have this up and running... i;ll skip to the reaper part...

Two ways..
1st way
Enable the mpc mmc iac driver in the midi devices input window and check the input and control boxes ..

then go to action menu which is in top right of menu..(AFTER OPTIONS)

Click "show actions list"
Then click find shortcut
then press space bar..

This will jump to play/stop action.. you can then click add and it will wait for input from all enable controller midi devices ...
On the ren when it is a plugin i think event back and foward, stop, record, record overdub, play, and playstart are assignable to wat ever action you want..


2nd way.. carrying on with the 1st way but avoid the show actions list,,
instead click options menu tab

then click preferences
Then click control surfaces on left pane
The click add
Choose control surface as mackie control universal and make sure the input in Mpc mmc

You da man JAH! following your suggestion I found the MPC.dll file in the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\vstplugins", which I added to Reaper and voila!!
