Make that 24 now .... (Actually, Surely more!) Loving my Studio so far and look forward to 1.5, 1.6, 2.0, 3.1, etc...

Playing beats became fun again (and a possibility) once I got my MPC Ren.

I jumped in at 1.4 so was spared some of the teething issues but I'm happy with what the Ren brings to the table and what's on the horizon.

Since it's arrived I've been knocking out beat after beat after after beat...Always a good sign of money well spent :)

1.5 looks really good. A potential lower price point and new MIDI mode will open up this product to even more people.

Being greedy....I am already looking ahead to updates beyond 1.5.

That is what I hope to see. I will always support the MPC line...my favorite instrument. ..this includes another hardware MPC if Akai feel there is a market or need for one. I'll be the first in line to buy it (as I normally am). I have never not bought an MPC based upon what someone else said.....

Yeah you're right it's getting boring! But it often starts with the same dude pissing everybody off...

To get back on track with the subject of the thread my top 3 requests would be:
- Live timestretching and quantize
- More virtual outputs
- Multi core support

being able to open and view more than one efx plugin at a time would be nice... for mixing purposes....amongst other things that will hopefully be implemented eminently, :-D so far im happy with my purchase.

The example above is what you would use to record into the MPC Software sequencer. MIDI Controller Mode is what you would use to record into your DAWs sequencer.

That's ALMOST all I want. (Being able to adjust the Time Sig per bar in the Sequences like on the 1000 is the other thing I ABSOLUTELY need to make it possible for me to make beats again!)

Many similar situations, where you might want to continue work on your project, but might not want to take the controller with you, or might not have it with you.

Word. (The Ren is HUGE. Working in the parc, in the living room, etc., isn't possible right now...)
