well I do not, if there are complaints and feedback, I will mention those... Not a word on the competition or that device u keep speaking off...i like the ren, it cost me money, and I like some customers involvement, decent communications, and make clear and honest statements, and at least pretend that they're heavily involved with the ren,and studio, as the "gamechanging flagship production center (<----notice center,so not any other DAW being the center) it claims to be....

and I asked u what makes u think we will not get a half arsed 1.6.9 weak update??? The absence of an in answer in your reply, says it all...

i said I wasn't impressed, with Ni's gear, with their update, or the comparison...i do not care for that....but if akai is clearly dropping the ball u can't keep repeating that pathetic mantra as if they were actually taking good care of us last 2 years...and they didn't delay, came with weak updates.... I actually use the ren, and i like to see limitations and crashes bugs and shortcomings resolved...as I can enjoy it even,more, while still not,giving a f*ck on what other companies come,with or,updates or whatever sort of comparison...

If I was as unhappy with the product as some of you seem, and had as little faith in the next update as you do, I would sell it and move on to something else, like InspectahRant did...some of you sound just like he did before giving up on it.

Really don't understand why you persist with something you think is such a piece of shit, and you will most likely still think that about it no matter what the next update brings.

If Maschine is all that, and it's more regular updates is what you actually want, go for it, I wouldn't hang around bitching about something that is giving me as much stress as this product seems to be giving you.

It has only been 3 months since 1.6 was released, but you have been reading that quote for months?

You seem convinced it will be a half arsed 1.6.9, you have already decided that, and will probably still think that no matter what they come up with.

It will be whatever it is, whenever it is, I really don't care that much, I'll just use what I have, I'm certainly not going to be butthurt over it like some here seem to be, or will be, it really isn't worth the effort, and will not make any difference.

It has only been 3 months since 1.6, does it really matter if it is more than 3 months, if it is another month or two, how does that affect your use of it?

Whatever it is, whenever it is, it doesn't really matter, bitching about that here isn't going to make any difference to what it is, or when it is.

I understand that it isn't going to be what I want it to be, because the things I want to see are not that important to most users, but whatever it is, whenever it is, it is better than nothing, and crying over it taking to long, or what is going to be in it, is pointless.

People need to stop complaining for real.. yes updates are far apart at times.. but at least they are free. Where I am from piracy is not banned, I used to rely on people hacking and finding cracks, I just updated my fully functional Maschine to version 2.1 for free, because I bought it, and it makes me appreciate updates a whole lot more.

So hold off on the complaints, because once version 2 comes out it most likely wont be free.

People need to decide for them self....

I do not wish to discuss NI gear on a mpc forum tho' but that's just me

ima do what i feel when i feel .. no body is complaining .. they just expressing how they feel .. these people payed over $1200 for the pice of gear .. and this is a form . if you think about it . who do they have to turn to . to release the frustration .. their wife the kids that dont not one thing what a ren is ? who are you to tell another man anything ? would you rather he go on face book twitter youtube ? that would really hurt sales .. so let em live .. ounce the 1.7 is done and its done right . the complaints will hopefully go away ..

but the thing is, if people knew what they were getting themselves into before they bought the thing, wouldn't there be less frustration. I mean when I buy gear I don't hope that they will have certain features, I make sure they have them before I buy.

and yes at times they add features that are requested by customers.. but again when I am spending $1200 for my MStudio it's not based on hype

no one knew what they was getting to .. the ren and studio is the first of its kind ... and and we had an agreement . which was .. a update every 3-6 moths and that is not complaining when you dont get that .. its called keeping your word .. i understand things happens . so thats why they gave a 3-6 moth window ... but the window is up .. . if you ask me its been up but i forgot the exact day of the last release .so i added 20 more days and that will be up in 5 days . so he/we has every right to make this post .. its been 6 months .. i would see if it has only been 2 or 3 months and people started to complain , but naw 3-6 months was the deal . so keep your word .. if it was me i would . be like look i know it taking longer than expected .. so here is some free vst or sound packs .. thats just me ..


ya see i think people think ok the last update was week and this one is taking longer .. so maybe the next one will take even longer .. and who knows after that .. and this new mpc is coming out ,, so all these years we had a mpc that never really worked ..

Actually the update came in January, again as we are not in july the 3-6 months window still there.
I don't blame people that are complaining, if my experience with the Ren or any other product would be as bad and frustrating as for some of the guys around here, I would be complaining too.
