I think if you've started a thread to ask questions like this, i rekon tutors book would answer everything. ITs only 30 dollars... the time you spent on here asking and hoping for someone to post the answers would equate to maybe a full week of work... I'm sure you could save the 30 dollars and purchase it.. just dont buy a carton of beer... haha

It's like a 270 page book..Just on sampling. The points covered look very extensive. Especially referring to drum break drum layering and looping breaks and instruments.. Sure there will be things in it that you already know, but more things you wont...

changing the time signature would allow you to stay at certain bpm while changing the feel of the tune as well... definitely has creative advantages

sup f00s.

what is the best and hopefully free 808 vst?i want to get some deep sounding i bass drum kicks. and id like to get some deep sounding basslines too. although i dont know if i can do that with 808.

ive downloaded some 808 stuff but its all just mp3 samples of kicks/claps/snares and stuff which is ok but doesnt really give me the option to customize it as much as id like.

anyways thanks.

havent been on this site much lately. been busy learning a lot of mpcing ;)

im excited to post something new and hopefully it will be good and ill get some good feedback

http://www.kvraudio.com/q.php

Go through each option until you find the pricing and change it to "free"

Its a searching database for plug ins and computer music stuff..

Will list things based on the search criteria.

Not only will you find 808 drum machines, but you;ll also find almost everything else which is available in vst au format..

d zastuh always coming through...

new question...

is there a way make a sound go from one sequence to the next?
like if i play a sample at the end of a sequence and only half plays..how can i have the sample continue on the next sequence?

or do i just have to chop it up and play other half in the next sequence?

Maybe, if not already, set the pad (or keygroup) to Pad/Keygroup Play Modes-Sample Play to One Shot, instead of Note-On?

sup mates...

so i was **** around today in mpc land and i found a better solution...

1. is to just copy the bars in the last half of the next sequence and just add them to the first sequence.

or

2. you go to song mode

once you have all sequences or the suquences you want in the order you want you click under song

conver>sequence and it puts the sequences you choose into one and then you can just add the little touches you where gona add with out having to chop it up ;)

whoodie whooo

sup pepz...

how can i get a kick like this?

theres a few that come with mpc ren

but i want to learn how to make one sound like that and customize it more.

is it an 808?

i can just use some vst's and stuff

but i want to learn how to make it my self..

should i just ad some bass on top of a kick?

and customize the bass so it sounds really deep and then just mess with attack/decay?
