You can "access" any expansion's directory from MPC in the GUI file browser.

Click the "location" combo box, and each installed expansion (official or... ahem... otherwise) will appear in the list there to file browse.

I don't have any other expansions installed, but at least the Masada pack installed itself to:
/Library/Application Support/Akai/MPC/Content

I'm trying to get you to come up off of how that nifty .exe installer works.

I can get the "payload" but I can't figure out the script to compile the .pkg

Masada, shoot me a PM!

I get masadas XML thing but I want to understand how t_t gets it from external hd. And what exactly Pete is speaking of
By TT_Lab Tue Sep 09, 2014 4:14 pm
It is quite easy.
All the images and xml must go in expansion folder as in the videos.
But inside the xml...
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<expansion version="1.0">
<title>insert title</title>
<manufacturer>insert manufacturer</manufacturer>
<type>insert catagory</type>
<img>insert jpeg name</img>
<directory>FULL PATH TO THE FOLDER WHERE THE SOUNDS ARE</directory>
</expansion>
