Plugin Scanner Issues: Please list plugins

i noticed some of my vsts dont work anymore..like my equalizer and stuff..so i just deleted them ;(... didnt know/think it was mpc error ;(

damn you akai!

Yeah! It's weird. I'm starting to think it's not the scanner either. Oddly, they scan fine in 1.6, but not 1.7. However, other users of other software have also been reporting in other forums that they are having problems with the Wave 9.3 vst only. It scans fine in Maschine for me. Wondering if they changed something in the 9.3/9.7 vst shells.

I lost my Waves VST plugins upon installing 1.7. as well (OS X). But they are still available and working as intended/needed in AU format.

It is weird. It has to be something in the installation of the update. it erased it. i think it even erased the license for waves. i had hell trying to reinstall it. the vst3 doesnt even install in your main plugins folder. When i was scanning...i remember it kept saying something about the 9.1 library vst or something. i took a pic of where all the shit is at now in case it happens again. But i cant do shit without my waves plugins. they do everything. Now wut would be nice is if akai could work out something with waves and have those plugins in the software. the ones they got in there and worth shit to me. but im loving the software. i just want timestrech-pitch shift update, cross fade looping like the 4000 and have the tempo lock and change to that bpm when you do. temp sync

but i can't open up mpc in ableton 9 live suite.

i scanned like a million times in the folder that mpc.dll is located in ;/

and i dont know how to open up ableton in mpc yet...so dont know if that is working yet.

i set it up as "slave" following some instructions on mpc site and ableton forums..but im assuming i need to find the ableton.dll or what ever its called and scan for it..which i dont want to do cuz i dont want my shit to **** up. but ill have too.

Are you running Live in 32 bit or 64 bit mode?

Did you copy the 32 bit or the 64 bit MPC plugin?

You need to match the bit version of the plugin to the bit mode of Live.

You can't open Live inside MPC Software, Live does not run as a plugin, there is no Ableton.dll (Live.dll) plugin file to find.

Shouldn't erase your Waves license. The license file is stored in a completely different part of the hard drive that MPC doesn't even touch.

or how i can figure out what bit mode my mpc.dll is? cuz ableton doesnt pick it up when i scan for it ;( ffs

I am curious to know of all the people who are having issues with loading waves plug ins do any of you have the paid version. Maybe it is because the new scanner does not allow cracked vsts

You right man...it was still on there...I'm just throwing anything out there...maybe it corrupted the vst because everything was still on there...they just weren't showing up...i send you a dm the other day...i was wondering if you still had those time stretch tutorials that you had on mpc tutors? I cant watch them for some reason...Pete needs to add a bypass button on the fx plugins...its the little things that make a big difference...i know we can turn it off on the program slot but i dont like that...Pete's the man over there so i know he'll get us all right man
